A jobs announcement is expected in Londonderry on Monday, a Foyle assembly member has said.

Martina Anderson said the numbers are not yet known, but it would be a welcome boost to the city's economy.

"It's not going to be on the scale of the announcement from Firstsource, but it will show it is only the beginning," she said.

Two weeks ago the telecommunications company announced several hundred new jobs for the city.
