70m investment for Bombardier

Aircraft manufacture is to receive a 70m boost

Bombardier Aerospace has announced that aircraft manufacturing in Belfast is to receive a boost from investments worth 70m.

The investment will cover a range of technologically-advanced aircraft development projects.

It incorporates more than 50m for the manufacture of major components for the new CRJ1000 regional aircraft.

Invest NI has offered almost 10m towards the overall 70m investment plan.
