A taxi was hit by a crossbow bolt at the weekend in the city

An umbrella group for taxi drivers in Londonderry has said someone is going to be killed if attacks on its members do not stop.
At the weekend, a taxi was hit by a crossbow bolt, which punctured one of its tyres.
The driver was unhurt and there were no passengers in the car at the time.
"This is very, very sinister. We believe it's just pure thuggery," said Eamon O'Donnell from North West Taxi Proprietors.
"These people need to get a grip, they need to stop what they're doing.
"And anybody, who has any notion as to who they are, should be making sure that they are stopped."
