Jail over £5,500 benefits fraud

Scales of justice

A man has been jailed for six months for benefit fraud.

Stephen O'Donnell, 38, of Railway Crescent, Gortgommon, appeared in court in Enniskillen on Monday.

He claimed more than £5,500 in income support and housing benefit while failing to declare he was living with a partner.

Mr O'Donnell is also required to repay the money he fraudulently obtained to the Social Security Agency.
