A woman's body has been removed from a house in south Belfast after a fire at the property.

Her body was found in premises in the Olympia Parade area, near Tate's Avenue, just after 1300 GMT.

A forensics team has been searching for clues at the end-terrace house, which was cordoned off.

It is not yet known what caused the blaze but the police are investigating. A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Thursday.
