A man has been charged following an attempted arson attack on an Orange hall in County Armagh.

The Clounagh hall on the Brownstown Road in Portadown was targeted just before 1900 GMT on Friday.

The 24-year-old man is charged with burglary, attempted arson and criminal damage.

He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday, a police spokesman said.
