BBC discloses controller's salary

BBC Northern Ireland has made public the salary of its highest earner in 2005 following a ruling from the information commissioner's office.

The controller at the time was Anna Carragher, her earnings were within a salary range of £100,000 - £131,000.

The BBC also disclosed figures of its expenditure on hospitality and taxis in Northern Ireland.

The taxi bill for 2004 - 2005 was £290,000. In the same year, £267,000 was spent on hospitality.
