Victims attend collusion debate
Dublin and Monaghan bombings
The Dail is to debate the Dublin and Monaghan bombings
More than 50 victims of the Troubles will attend a debate on collusion in the Dail later.

It will include talks on the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings and the 1975 attack on Kay's Tavern in Dundalk.

Margaret Unwin from Justice for the Forgotten said the British government must make available evidence which could help solve numerous murders.

"We believe the British government knows that it has to deal with the legacy of the past," she said.

No-one has ever been convicted of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings on 17 May 1974, which injured more than 250.

The UVF was suspected of being behind the attacks which were the biggest loss of life on a single day in the Troubles.
