Unofficial action has caused flight delays
Unofficial industrial action is affecting about 30 flights at Dublin airport.

The Irish Aviation Authority confirmed that no flights will be able to land at Dublin Airport between 2230 and 2330 GMT on Friday.

It relates to a dispute between air traffic controllers and the IAA.

The case was referred to the Republic of Ireland's Labour Court earlier in the week when air traffic controllers refused to work overtime.

A spokesperson for the union Impact, which represents controllers, said it is urging members to make themselves available to work overtime.

He said a significant amount of progress had been made in the search for a resolution.

The matter is due back before the Labour Relations Commission on Tuesday.
