Escaped snake found dead in alley
Python
The python has not reached the size of this one
A missing baby python which was on the loose in east Belfast has been found dead.

Police had warned local residents to look out for the snake after it escaped from its owner between Castlereagh Place and Hyndford Street on Wednesday.

It was discovered on Thursday afternoon in Heatherbell Street.

Detectives thought the non-venomous snake would seek out a warm place as it is usually kept in temperatures above 22C, but it was found in an alleyway.
