Constable Donnelly was banned from driving for 12 months

A police officer who had to be edited out of a road safety advertisement after being caught drink-driving is back at work.
Last May, Constable Geraldine Donnelly pleaded guilty to the offence. She was fined £120 and banned for 12 months.
Senior officers had vowed to sack officers found guilty of drink driving.
UUP assembly member Basil McCrea, who chairs the Policing Board's disciplinary committee, said the PSNI must be seen to be consistent.
"Each individual case is treated on its merits, but we expect very high standards from our police officers," he said.
In a statement the PSNI said it would not discuss named individuals.
However, the issue is expected to be discussed at the next Policing Board meeting .
