Man is held over airport cocaine

Cocaine was found during a search of luggage
A Londonderry man has been arrested after the seizure of 250g cocaine at Belfast International Airport.

The 26-year-old was held after cocaine with a street value of £15,000-£20,000 was found during a search of luggage on a flight from Amsterdam.

A subsequent search of luggage from an Alicante flight, uncovered 26 kilos of hand rolling tobacco.

A 41-year-old Belfast man was arrested. HM Revenue and Customs were involved in both incidents.

Enquiries into the items seized are continuing.
