Police examined the rail line between Portadown and Moira
A security alert which led to the closure of the railway between Portadown and Moira has ended.

Trains between the two towns were cancelled as police officers examined the railway.

Translink said a bus substitution service is in operation for passengers between Lisburn and Portadown.

A spokesman said the knock-on delays were expected on services. Meanwhile, there are delays on the Upper Newtownards Road after a pipe burst.
