Aer Lingus is set to begin Belfast flights
Aer Lingus has begun operating its first flights out of Belfast International Airport.

The airline is flying to nine destinations, including Heathrow, Barcelona and Amsterdam.

Aer Lingus's decision to set up a Belfast hub resulted in staff threatening industrial action.

Last month, a strike by Aer Lingus cabin crew and ground staff over the new pay and conditions in Northern Ireland was averted at the last minute.
