Three vehicles were involved in the accident
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an accident in County Fermanagh in which a teenager died and two men were critically injured.

The teenager who died has been named as Noel Donaghy Jr, 17, of Tildarg Avenue, Suffolk, west Belfast.

He was a front-seat passenger in a four-wheel drive vehicle which was in collision with a car and a lorry near Brookeborough on Monday.

His 20-year-old brother is one of those critically injured in the crash.

Five others, including two children, were also injured.

The two children who were injured are a boy aged seven and his 10-year-old sister.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Third crash

The crash happened at 1620 BST on Monday on the main road between Ballygawley and Enniskillen.

The injured were initially taken to the Erne Hospital in Enniskillen, but some casualties were later transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

A third man who was in the same vehicle was also injured.

The driver of the lorry was not badly injured, although he remains in hospital.

It was one of a spate of road accidents in the Fermanagh area.

A 65-year-old man remains in a critical condition after a crash near Beleek on Sunday.

And on Tuesday, a woman was killed when her car was in collision with another vehicle near the border town of Pettigo.
