An Armagh man whose house was targeted by arsonists has said he believes those behind the attack will stop at nothing to force him from his home.

Alan Doak's house at Alexander Park in the city has been attacked with stones, petrol bombs and other missiles.

He said in the latest incident on Monday night his front door was kicked open and flammable liquid poured over furniture and set alight.

Mr Doak thinks he is being singled out because he was in a mixed marriage.

Nobody was at home during the latest attack, but the house was extensively damaged.

"Initially, it was to do with the religions of my children, but now it's just hatred, it's not even anything to do with sectarianism, it's just pure hatred," Mr Doak said.

"It's an ongoing campaign and all the neighbours know who's doing it, but knowing and proving is two totally different things.

"They'll stop at nothing to put somebody out of their house, that's what I can gather."
