Staff at a bookmakers in Lisburn have been held at gunpoint during an armed robbery.
The robber, who had a scarf tied around his face, threatened staff at the premises in the Stewartstown Road area shortly after 2015 BST on Tuesday.
He then escaped on foot with a sum of money. No-one was injured.
He is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, of medium build and being about 5ft 8ins to 6ft tall and he was wearing a black fleece.
Police have recovered a handgun in Carrickfergus.
The weapon was discovered during a planned search in the Red Brae Road area of the town shortly before midday on Tuesday.
It was then removed for examination. No arrests were made during the police operation.
However, a spokesperson said that their investigations into the discovery were ongoing.
Boy assaulted as he gets off bus
Police in Londonderry's Waterside are appealing for information following an incident in which a 15-year-old boy was assaulted as he got off a bus.
The teenager was struck on the head as he disembarked in the Church Brea area shortly before 1745 BST on Saturday.
He sustained what police described as a "minor head injury".
The bus was travelling from Derry city centre to Currynerin. A scuffle had taken place on board between a group of youths.
Factory fire under investigation
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack at commercial premises in County Tyrone.
A factory on the Tamnamore Road in Dungannon is believed to have been deliberately set on fire at around 2130 BST on Friday.
Substantial smoke damage was caused to the building as a result of the blaze, but no-one was injured.
Police in Dungannon are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
