Crunch ballot for Tayto workers
Crisps
Staff at the Tayto factory in Tandragee are to hold a strike action ballot in a row over pay.

The Unite trade union said about 130 workers have been told they will not receive a pay rise this year, apart from a minimum wage rise in October.

Spokesman Sean McKeever said staff were angry that Tayto were not negotiating.

A Tayto spokesman said there were 3% pay increases in January and October 2006, "and our intention is to pay a further 3.1% in October 2007".
