Razorlight and the Manic Street Preachers will play the night before at the two-day event, which has become an annual highlight for local music fans.

It is a chance for Killers fans who missed out on tickets for July's Oxegen festival in County Kildare to see the band perform their best loved songs such as All These Things I've Done, Mr Brightside and When You Were Young.

Kasabian are also well known for their live show, and have won an army of fans for hits such as Club Foot and Empire.

The concert is the latest addition to a summer line-up of live music which includes June's Beach Party on Portrush Strand which features Basement Jaxx and Happy Mondays.

And in September, local heroes Snow Patrol are curating their own festival at Ward Park in Bangor, which also stars Ash and We Are Scientists.
