Police in appeal over fridge body
Garda officer
Irish police have appealed for the public's help in identifying the body of a man who was found in a shop's refrigeration unit in Galway.

Garda launched a murder inquiry after he was found on the premises in St John's Avenue on Wednesday.

He is described as being 6ft, between 30 and 40 years of age, of stocky muscular build and with greying light brown hair.

He was wearing a brown jacket, a dark jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.

The inquiry was upgraded to a murder investigation after forensic specialists studied the scene.
