Charles and Camilla on NI visit
The royal couple sampled some local delicacies during their visit.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are in Northern Ireland for a two-day visit.

The couple have sampled a number of rural treats at the Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra in County Down.

The prince had to pop into an old fashioned sweet shop for some cough sweets, and the couple also tasted some traditional soda farls.

They were special guests at a reception to mark Help the Aged's 21st year. Prince Charles is the charity's patron.

"We are delighted that our Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, was able to join us to celebrate this milestone in Help the Aged's history in Northern Ireland," said the charity's Grace Henry.

"Our 21st birthday provides the perfect opportunity to look at the successes of the past but it is also a chance to look to the future."

Later, Prince Charles visited the Oval soccer ground in east Belfast, where he met young people involved with the Prince's Trust and members of Glentoran FC.
