Man in school run abduction bid

A man in his 40s has tried to entice a 10-year-old into his car in County Down.

It happened at about 0845 BST in Kircubben, on Parsonage Road near a local primary school.

Police said the suspect was believed to be bald with greying temples and a short, white beard. He was wearing a denim jacket and a black shirt.

Detectives appealed for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to contact them.
