Two killed in separate accidents

Two men have been killed in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland.

A 41-year-old man died after a crash on the Carnteel Road, Aughnacloy, at about 1745 BST. A man in his 70s was injured.

Meanwhile, police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road accident in Sandelford Bridge in Coleraine.

A lorry hit a stationary vehicle before it struck a man who was carrying out work on the carriageway at about 0710 BST.

So far this year 39 people have died on Northern Ireland's roads.
