Car is found in lough body probe
Police search
Police cordoned off a nearby car park
Police are examining a car found close to where a woman's body was found at a Fermanagh beauty spot.

The discovery was made in the water at Lower Lough Erne, near Belleek, by a man walking his dog, at about 2000 BST on Thursday.

Police are treating the death as suspicious. The woman is thought to have been in her 20s, about 5ft 4in and slim with shoulder-length blond hair.

A definite line of inquiry into her identity is being followed, police say.

The woman is understood to have had a number of distinctive tattoos.

The police operation involves a motor launch which is anchored in the lough and a PSNI helicopter. Forensic officers are examining the scene.

A nearby car park has been cordoned off.

The spot where the body was found is about 20 miles from Enniskillen, on the main road to Donegal, in the Republic of Ireland.

It is the starting point for a walking trail.
