Two men have appeared in court charged with attacking a man in his home in Carrickfergus.
The defendants are accused of causing grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and making threats to kill.
They are Peter Francis Callaghan, 35, from Cherry Walk and Robert George Cameron, 33, of Woodburn Drive, both Carrickfergus.
The men were arrested following a break-in and the assault of a man in the town last month.
The 55-year-old victim suffered eye and face injuries.
A police officer said the pair made no reply when charged but he believed he could connect them to the charges.
The men were remanded in custody until 25 February.
Their solicitor said a bail application would be made in the meantime.
