The funerals for a father and his eight-year-old daughter, killed in a road accident, have taken place.

James McGuigan, 30, and his daughter, Lorna, died when their car hit a tree on the Ballyhill Road in Crumlin, County Antrim on Friday.

Two other daughters, aged four and five, who were also injured in the crash, are being treated in hospital.

Mr McGuigan had been taking his children to their grandmother's house when the accident happened.

Four people have died on Northern Ireland's roads since Friday.
