With policing dominating the political agenda, BBC Newsline has given young people in Londonderry the chance to quiz Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde in a live discussion.

Sir Hugh Orde answered questions on BBC Newsline's i-Generation
This week's i-Generation debate took place as Sinn Fein continues to discuss whether to join the Policing Board.

Sir Hugh has already offered to address grassroots republicans and on BBC Newsline he agreed to answer whatever questions the Derry sixth-formers had about policing.

His appointment as PSNI chief constable in 2002 was seen by many as an attempt to push ahead reform.

But has he brought about change and is the PSNI really seen by republicans as a more acceptable police service?

Also taking part in the debate was the vice-chairman of the Policing Board, Barry Gilligan.

And the students themselves addressed a range of policing issues, including road deaths and anti-social behaviour.
