ENT patients face four-year wait
Hospital ward
ENT patients may have to wait four years
Patients waiting for routine ENT clinic appointments at Antrim Area Hospital are having to wait up to four years, it has emerged.

More than 1,700 people are on the waiting list. Senior doctors have warned that patients could suffer.

Dr Hugh McCaughey from the United Hospitals Trust said the current situation was untenable.

"We now have plans in place by next March to have a maximum waiting time of six months," he said.
