Four are injured during assault

Four people have been injured during an assault in north Belfast.

Police have appealed for information about the incident, which took place in the Cavehill Road area at about 0200 GMT on Wednesday.

A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries and a 31-year-old woman was treated for cuts and bruises.

Two other people received minor injuries. It is believed they were attacked by a gang of up to four men during the assault.
