Four people have been arrested after police seized suspected counterfeit goods in the Londonderry area.

Officers confiscated CDs, DVDs, clothes and cigarettes worth more than 20,000 at Longfield Market, Eglinton.

The operation involved the Organised Crime Squad and representatives from the music, movie and games industries.

Three men and one woman were arrested. In a separate incident, a 15-year-old boy and a man have been charged with copyright and trademark offences.

The charges are believed to be in connection with a police raid at Clougher market, where counterfeit goods worth 40,000 were seized.

The pair are to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on 10 November.
