Man held over M1 crash released

Five people were hurt but no-one's injuries was life-threatening
A man arrested in connection with an accident on Northern Ireland's main motorway which left five people injured has been released on police bail.

The M1 was closed between Belfast and Lisburn on Thursday from 0800 BST until 2100 BST following the collision which involved two lorries and three cars.

During this time, traffic on the road was brought to a stand-still to allow police to examine the scene.

It is understood the 26-year-old man arrested was driving one of the cars.
