Woman knocked out in 'road rage'

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after an alleged road rage incident in County Armagh.

The incident happened at Church Place in Lurgan at about noon.

The woman and a man she was with were involved in an argument with a man and were then allegedly assaulted.

The woman was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured skull while the man suffered cuts and bruises. Police arrested a 55-year-old man.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
