Pair held over robbery released

Two men being questioned in connection with a robbery at a sub-post office in County Tyrone on Monday have been released pending further inquiries.

Two women, including a post office employee, were held hostage during the incident at Melmount Road, Strabane.

Police said searches were carried out in west Belfast and in the Strabane area. A vehicle and ammunition were also seized.

A number of items were also taken away for forensic examination.
