First DUP peer to take his seat

Maurice Morrow becomes Lord Morrow of Clogher
The first Democratic Unionist Party peer takes his seat in the House of Lords on Tuesday.

Party chairman Maurice Morrow has taken the title Lord Morrow of Clogher Valley.

His sponsors will be former Ulster Unionist leader Lord Molyneaux and Scottish peer Lord Foulkes of Cumnock.

He will be joined by colleagues Eileen Paisley, who will be known as Baroness Paisley of St George's, and former Lord Mayor of Belfast, Wallace Browne.
