Police have released the name of a teenager killed in a road accident in County Tyrone on Friday.

He was 19-year-old Christopher Coary, of Coole Road in Coalisland.

The car he was travelling in was involved in a crash with a mobile crane being driven on the Tandragee Road outside Pomeroy.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man remains critically ill after the car he was driving was in collision with another car outside Ballygowan, County Down.

The other driver - a woman aged in her 30s was also taken to hospital along with four children - two boys and two girls aged between six and 12.

They are said to be in a stable condition. The crash happened on the Carrickmannon Road at about 1645 BST.
