A second man is to appear in court charged in connection with a gun attack on leading loyalist Mark Haddock.
The 29-year-old, arrested in Antrim on Monday, is to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with attempted murder.
Police said the man had also been reported to the Public Prosecution Service for alleged membership of the UVF, a banned paramilitary group.
Mr Haddock, 36, survived being shot six times in Newtownabbey on 30 May.
Another man appeared in court on Monday charged with attempted murder in connection with the attack.
