Two pensioners have been assaulted and robbed in Belfast city centre.
Shortly before 1730 BST a man hit an 85-year-old man on the side of the head in Winecellar Entry, off High Street, before stealing his wallet.
A short time later a 67-year-old man was assaulted at Wilson Court off Ann Street.
He was also hit on the side of the head by a man who made off with the victim's wallet. Police believe the two robberies were linked.
The robber in each case was about 30-40 years old, about 5ft 11ins tall with a heavy build and dark thin hair.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed either incident to contact them.
