A man from Mid Ulster has been arrested after Customs officers raided an alleged illegal fuel laundering plant in County Londonderry.
HM Revenue and Customs said the fuel seized would have been worth almost £800,000 in lost tax revenue.
It said the plant, based near Tobermore, had the capacity to produce 30,000 litres of laundered fuel a week.
Four tonnes of toxic contaminated sludge was also cleared from the site during the raid on Thursday night.
