Divers will search for fisherman
Connor Bogues
Connor Bogues has been lost at sea since January
Volunteer divers are due to return to a County Down village on Saturday to try to recover the body of a missing fisherman.

Connor Bogues has been missing at sea since January. He was one of three men on board a boat which hit rocks and sank off the coast of Ardglass.

The body of his shipmate, Donall Gibson, 22, was recovered days later.

Divers from Boyne Rescue Team hope conditions will be favourable on Saturday to search for Mr Bogues.

Following the death of the father-of-two from Ballynahinch, police and Army divers have used a remote control underwater camera to search the wreckage of the boat, The Greenhill.

Teams of divers from County Louth and local fishermen have also searched the sea bed around the sunken vessel.

However, bad weather forced divers to suspend their search on several occasions.

An exclusion zone around the wreck has been lifted, allowing civilian teams to assist in the effort to locate Mr Bogues' remains.

Accident investigators from Southampton have been carrying out an inquiry into the tragedy.

The dead man's family have been at the coastline every day to search for their son.
