Two charged with attempted arson
Two men have been charged in connection with an arson attempt at an Orange hall in County Tyrone.

The men, aged 20 and 21, face charges of attempted arson and conspiracy to commit arson.

They are scheduled to appear at Enniskillen Magistrate's Court, County Fermanagh, on Monday.

The charges are believed to be connected to an attempted arson attack on Tullywhisker Orange Hall in Sion Mills in the early hours of Saturday.

Man jailed over cocaine seizure

A 30-year-old Carrickfergus man has been jailed for four-and-a-half years on drugs offences.

Robert Andrews, from Maple Gardens, was convicted of possessing about 16,000 of cocaine with intent to supply in September 2004.

The court heard that while another man was arrested with the drugs, Andrews' fingerprints were found on a plastic bag they were wrapped in.

Judge Lockie said the sentence must act as a deterrent to others.
