City art gallery is set to close
The Ormeau Baths Gallery in Belfast is to close because of financial problems.

The gallery is mostly funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland which says the situation at the gallery is no longer tenable.

The trustees of the gallery have said they "deeply regret they can no longer sustain it as a viable arts venue".

The Arts Council's Roisin McDonough said she was saddened by the closure but was hopeful the gallery could open in the future under new management.
