Family of five escape explosion
Damage caused in the attack
The front door of the house was damaged
A explosive device has been thrown at a house in County Antrim.

A couple and their three children escaped injury in the blast at their home in Ballymena at about 0400 BST.

It damaged the front door of the house at Knockeen Crescent, near the loyalist Ballykeel estate.

Police are investigating whether the attack was linked to loyalist feuding. The family say they have no links with loyalist paramilitaries.

Meanwhile, a man escaped injury after shots were fired through the window of his home in Randalstown.

It happened on Moneynick Road at about 0100 BST.
