Police are investigating the suspected rape of a 17-year-old girl in Londonderry.

The attack took place in an alleyway near Termon Street, in the Waterside area, between 0100 GMT and 0130 GMT.

It is thought three men were involved. Two had Celtic scarves over their faces while the third had a Rangers' scarf covering his face.

Police want anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have any other information to contact them.
