Team manager faces assault trial
The manager of a County Down football club is to go on trial accused of assaulting police.

Newry City FC manager Roy McCreadie, 47, also faces charges of resisting arrest and failing to provide a breath test in Caledon, Tyrone, last December.

Armagh Magistrate's Court heard Mr McCreadie, of Moss Park, Londonderry, would be contesting the charges.

A trial date will be fixed next month and Mr McCreadie was released on continuing bail.
