Arrests follow cannabis seizure

More than £300,000 worth of cannabis resin has been seized by police in north Belfast.

Several people were arrested after the drugs were recovered during an operation in the Shore Road area of the city on Friday morning.

A PSNI spokeswoman said officers from the Crime Operations Drugs Squad were involved in the seizure.

"Three men have been arrested and are currently helping police with their inquiries," said the spokeswoman.
