Two men are expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on charges relating to searches in north Belfast and Castlereagh on Tuesday.
One, 24, is charged with blackmail, making threats and gun offences while the other, 46, faces charges of money laundering and deception.
Police are still holding north Belfast UDA boss Andre Shoukri and another man.
Shoukri's mother, who was also being questioned, was released without charge on Wednesday night.
