Sammy Wilson has voiced concerns about planning delays

Northern Ireland is losing out on jobs and investment because of planning delays, according to a DUP MP.
Sammy Wilson, who represents East Antrim, raised his concerns about the planning process in NI during a debate in Westminster on Tuesday.
Mr Wilson said urgent steps needed to be taken to address delays in the system and lack of accountability.
"Both developers and objectors are experiencing dissatisfaction with the Planning Service," he said.
"These problems are costing Northern Ireland in terms of jobs and economic growth and many opportunities are being lost to mainland Great Britain.
"It is therefore of paramount importance that these issues of dissatisfaction are raised at the adjournment debate and MPs have the opportunity to discuss them."
