Man charged over stabbing death

A man has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old Ciaran Irvine who was stabbed to death on the outskirts of west Belfast.

He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning, police said.

A man and woman being questioned about the killing have been released pending reports.

Mr Irvine was stabbed during a row at Juniper Park in the Twinbrook area on Monday.

He was taken to hospital following the attack, where he died a short time later.
