A divine wedding!

Big day for Neil and his bride Orla

The lead singer of pop group The Divine Comedy, Neil Hannon, has tied the knot in the Irish Republic.

The ceremony was held at the tiny University Church in the centre of Dublin on Saturday.

Among the guests at the wedding was the 29-year-old singer's father, the Right Reverend Brian Hannon.

He is the Church of Ireland Bishop of Clogher in Co Tyrone in Northern Ireland.

Bound for London

The Divine Comedy is responsible for hits such as Something for the Weekend and National Express, and the theme tune of the TV comedy hit show Father Ted.

Neil is from Enniskillen in Co Fermanagh and his bride Orla Little comes from Drogheda in Co Louth.

The happy couple are expected to live in London.

Neil and Orla were taken from the church in a white horse-drawn carriage to join their 180 guests at a reception in a nearby hotel.
