Police repeat fatal crash appeal

Police have repeated an appeal for witnesses to an accident in County Down on Friday in which an elderly man died.

The 82-year-old's car was involved in a collision with another vehicle on the Rathfriland Road near Banbridge.

A woman in the car with the victim suffered chest injuries. The driver of the other vehicle suffered shock.

Police want anyone who saw either the victim's blue Peugeot or the other driver's blue Isuzu four-by-four before the crash to contact them.
